CALL TO WORSHIP • Mike Meadows

*WELCOME • CALL TO WORSHIP from PSALM 16 • Kevin Weston

LEADER: Protect me, God, for I take refuge in You.
I said to Yahweh, “You are my Lord
I have nothing good besides You.”
PEOPLE: LORD, You are my portion
And my cup of blessing
You hold my future.
LEADER: I will praise the LORD who counsels me
Even at night my conscience instructs me.
I keep the LORD in mind always.
Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.
PEOPLE: Therefore, my heart is glad and my spirit rejoices
You reveal the path of life to me
In Your presence is abundant joy
In Your right hand are eternal pleasures.

SONG • 91 ALL HAIL THE POWER OF JESUS’ NAME (Vs 1, 4, & 5)

INVOCATION • RESPONSE • PSALM 19:14

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost.
As it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be
World without end. Amen, amen.
GLORIA PATRI, 3rd Century • Charles Meineke

SONG • 110 YOU SERVANTS OF GOD (Vs 1 & 4)

THE FIRST READING • Cindy Silvey, Elder
EPHESIANS 2:13-16

But now in Christ Jesus, you who were far away have been brought near by the blood of the Messiah. For He is our peace, who made both groups one and tore down the dividing wall of hostility. In His flesh, He made of no effect the law consisting of commands and expressed in regulations, so that He might create in Himself one new man from the two, resulting in peace. He did this so that He might reconcile both to God in one body through the cross and put the hostility to death by it.

THE SECOND READING & LESSON • Dr. Jay Wile
A REAL ENCOUNTER WITH CHRIST • II CORINTHIANS 5:16-19

From now on, then, we do not know anyone in a purely human way. Even if we have known Christ in a purely human way, yet now we no longer know Him in this way. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away, and look, new things have come. Everything is from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: That is, in Christ, God was reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed the message of reconciliation to us.

CONGREGATIONAL PRAYER • Dr. Jay Wile
We will recite THE LORD’S PRAYER together at the end of the PRAYER • MATT 6:9-13 & LUKE 11:1-4

Our Father, which art in heaven; Hallowed be Thy name,
Thy Kingdom come: Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us, this day, our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses, as we also forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from the evil one,
For Thine is the Kingdom, the power & the glory forever. Amen.

SONG • 200 WHAT WONDROUS LOVE IS THIS? (Vs 1 & 3)
