PASTOR: My soul, praise Yahweh,

“I am the vine; you are the branches. The one who remains in Me and I in him produces much fruit, because you can do nothing without Me. If anyone does not remain in Me, he is thrown aside like a branch and he withers. They gather them, throw them into the fire, and they are burned. If you remain in Me and My words remain in you, ask whatever you want and it will be done for you. My Father is glorified by this: that you produce much fruit and prove to be My disciples.”
…the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, self-control. Against such things there is no law.

FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT: LOVE • I CORINTHIANS 13
If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love,
I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift
of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge,
and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love,
I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body
to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast,
it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self- seeking,
it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails.
But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.
For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears. When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love.
But the greatest of these is love.

Join CENTRAL for worship on Sundays, July 12th – August 30th as we end the Church Season with a series of messages that bear repeating: THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT – the mark of what it means to be a BELIEVER & FOLLOWER OF JESUS. Yes, we’ve talked about it before, and we will talk about it again…this “fruit” is our goal. This “fruit” is what we should keep in focus and aim for throughout our lives……Join us at 10am each Sunday.

Thursday July 23, 2026 is TISHA B’AV, a solemn day of mourning in Judaism. That day commemorates the destruction of the First and Second Temples in Jerusalem (nearly 600 years apart). We will use that day to look at the history and function of The Temple. How the Temple is built and what it does is the core and basis of Jesus’ theology, and Paul’s. Almost everything we learn about how Jesus functions
comes from Temple function.
