Rev. Rick Vale has been working in the
Church-at-large since he was 15 years old when he
began playing the piano for his home church.
Since then he has served as Choir Director,
Associate and Senior Pastors, Communication
Director, Graphic Designer and Composer-In-Residence
in congregations from Seattle, Washington to
Indiana.
He has "been in the pulpit" at Central since March
of 2007. |
Sara Fields holds a degree, from Ball State
University, in Religious Studies and Sociology.
She has worked in the church with children and youth
for several years, enjoys cake decorating and is an
avid "puppeteer". After serving at CCC as
leader of the "Friday Night Ministry" time, she
steps into full-time ministry as Director of Youth
Ministries and Director of Christian Education at
Central. She has served as Director of Youth
Ministries since 2011. |
Pianist Dr. Randall Frieling
received his undergraduate degree from Calvin
College in Grand Rapids and his Master's Degree from
the Indiana University School of Music. He completed
his Doctorate at Ball State University. Dr.
Frieling has performed throughout the United States,
Russia, Finland, Sweden, Spain, Switzerland, England
and Austria as a soloist and accompanist. He also
performs regularly at New York's Carnegie Hall.
He also works as Professor of Music at Anderson
University where his duties include teaching piano,
organ, class piano and accompanying. |
Linda Stacy has worked for Central Christian Church
since 1998 as our Financial Secretary. From February
2000 to March 2003, she also doubled as our
Administrative Secretary. In order to spend more
time with her husband, she now works Monday and
Tuesday as the Financial Secretary.
Before she came to Central, she worked for
Prudential Insurance for 31 years and was Associate
Office Manager for 19 years.
During her leisure time, she enjoys bowling in a
senior league, camping and doing volunteer work at
her home church in Pendleton.

Cheryl was born into a
Disciples of Christ family and, beginning
with her great-grandparents, they were members of
Central Christian Cheryl holds life licenses to
direct
child care centers in
Texas,
Washington, and Indiana and has done so. In
Anderson she worked for
Madison Superior Court 2, Director of
Bronnenberg Home, and Director of Support Services
where she supervised the Children's Home, Blake
House for Girls, Boys Residential Unit, Juvenile
Detention Center, Counseling Services, Alternative
Education Center, and educational, medical, and food
service contracts. Cheryl continued her work
in the area of
child abuse and neglect as Director of Court
Improvement for the
State
Supreme Court of Wisconsin. For the
past few years, she has been a volunteer for several
teams of Central Christian and is delighted to be a
part of the office staff.
She has been our OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR since 2008. |
