Worship in the Park

Sunday June 8th at 10:00am...WORSHIP IN THE PARK! We'll have our regular Sunday Morning worship service at Summers Park (our Church Park on Madison, north of Cross Street). Pastor Rick and Dr. Randy will have some great "park/camp" music and we'll celebrate with a Pitch-In after the worship time! There will be no service in the Sanctuary that day.

N-R bring Side Dish

S-Z bring Salad or Fruit

Bring Table Service, Food to Share, Lawn Chairs and/or Blankets, and dress casually.

Drinks will be provided.

A Service of Music
Sunday, June 29th...Come for a special worship service, at 10:00am, of music. Pastor Rick will lead an entire worship, from the piano, of music both original and traditional, with solos, congregational singing, stories of his own songs and all of the regular worship elements that we enjoy each week.

The Pastor’s Bible Study

Pastor’s Bible Study will start up again in the month of June. We will continue with “MATTHEW: THE KINGDOM GOSPEL” . In July, a new PASTOR’S BIBLE STUDY begins…”BELIEF”, looking at the various faith beliefs of other denominations. As always, you can find out everything you need to know on our website(www.central-christian-church.com).

50^th Anniversary

Come celebrate Jim and Judy Dick's 50th Anniversary on Sunday, June 1 as the Coffee Hour after Church, 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. No gifts.

Moment for Mission

Our church collects food and paper items each month for either Operation Love’s Food Pantry or East Lynn’s pantry. All collections can be brought to the church and placed in the cabinets in each narthex. We collect the same items for 2 months and then, collect something different the next 2 months. This month (June) we are collecting paper products and diapers for Operation Love.

It seems as the weather warms up, our pantries dwindle and that is when the school children are home and need it most --- not eating free or reduced meals at school! We need to keep up our giving. If everyone brought JUST 1 box of cereal this month, just think how we could help our friends in the community who need a little help with their groceries. I also will gladly shop for you.... just give me your monetary donation and I will find the best deal in town!!! Our schedule for the rest of the year will be this:

June – paper products, diapers

July & Aug – canned goods

Sept & Oct – cereal

Nov & Dec – veggies, fruit, drink mixes, and cereal for Jubilee Christmas

Men’s Fellowship News

JUNE: Charlie High will be doing the meal; this will be our last meeting until September. Come and get "fed up" for the summer.

The faithful, those who attend most all Men’s Fellowship meetings encourage all men of the Church to come out on the second Monday evening of each month and enjoy the companionship that abounds among us.
